Morning Assembly-The School Day
IIS School day begins with chanting of Gayatri and Ved Mantras in the Morning Assembly followed by School Prayer, singing devotional and patriotic songs, News reading, Thought of the Day, Speech by the students and teachers on current topics. Attendance in the morning assembly is compulsory for all the students and teachers.
To promote and inculcate Indian Vedic culture in its students and staff, weekly Hawan Yajana and singing of bhajans is an integral part of IIS. All important ceremonies are followed by Hawan yajana at IIS.
